Log4OM

Buona sera e grazie per aver scelto questo messaggio.

Ho cambiato radio, sono passato da un TS440S a un TS590SG.
Prima non avevo alcun problema a vedere le due frequenze dei VFO in alto a DX e naturalmente cliccando sulla stazione indicata nel cluster, mi sintonizzavo automaticamente sulla frequenza giusta.
Adesso non funziona più.
È vero, questo RTX viene comandato via USB e non via RS232...ma, con un apposito driver indicato dal costruttore, ho creato una porta Com virtuale.
Con questa sia il software dedicato e anche JST-X comunicano correttamente con la radio.
Con Log4Om non riesco a vedere e comandare nulla.
Ho provato a disistallare Omnirig, ma niente da fare...
Qualche utilizzatore di Log4OM ha questo RTX mi da qualche dritta ?

vedo che avete cambiato il TRX e ora usate una porta COM virtuale con un TS-590SG. Come si scrive tutto funziona bene con WSJT-X, ma non viene più visualizzato nulla nel Log4OM?

Penso che si debba impostare Omnirig sul nuovo TRX e sulla porta COM virtuale. Il Log4OM deve essere avviato prima per poter accedere anche al Log4OM.
Controllo CAT. In WSJT-X e JTDX è necessario impostare il TRX su Omnirig. Poi entrambi i programmi hanno accesso al CAT.

Installare anche l' ultima versione di Omnirig.

Purtroppo non ho avuto successo.
Ho nuovamente installato l'ultima versione di Omnirig ma non si interfaccia con Log4Om.
Non capisco dove sbaglio....

Ich habe bereits versucht, die Parameter des RTX und des virtuellen Ports zu ändern.
Leider ist mir das nicht gelungen.
Ich habe die neueste Version von Omnirig neu installiert, es funktioniert jedoch nicht mit Log4Om.
Ich verstehe nicht, wo ich falsch liege ....

Never ever post your logfiles to a forum because your logfile can contain sensitive information like passwords - I have deleted both posts.

I can however detect that your issue is because YOU ARE NOT RUNNING LOG4OM AS AN ADMINISTRATOR - Please refer tour user guide and also quick start video

Hi Graziano,

what Terry means is that Log4OM must be installed with adminitrator privileges or
you can go to the Log4OM shortcut on your desktop (or to logOMUI.exe in your Log4OM
folder), if using right mousekey you get a popup. Under compatibility you can set "Run as Administrator".
After saving this Log4OM will always start with the correct privileges.

This has nothing to do with that you are the administrator of your PC

I sometimes wonder why I wrote the user guide and quick start manuals! This is clearly covered in the user guide and the Quick start Guide as below:

I would suggest that you amend the manual to read "Install with Admin Privileges" instead of as "Admin" along with a screen shot of the drop down as they are two completely separate things.

Just a suggestion as it confuses some.

I have just re-written the user guide and Quick start guide and uploaded them to the website as below, Users will need to download the user guide in the Log4OM 'HELP' menu for these changes to be displayed.

Hopefully this will avoid any further misunderstanding's!
