How did the spreadsheet go, David?
Were you able to import it into Log4OM through the Awards Manager?
If so, I'd really appreciate a copy.

I would be interested also because I never received an answer to my email!

I tried to import but now I have no WWFF award at all, not even the ones that were there originally.
Terry, I replied to your email but it came back undeliverable . I imported using the semi colon seperator.
I have tried updating awards but I still have no WWFF

I did not receive a reply, however...

Settings/Awards Database/clear custom awards database

then

Settings/Awards database/Download updates

In the file that you sent me there are inverted commas (" Quotation marks) at the beginning and end of every entry - These are the cause of your issue - Remove them!

I do not see any quotation marks at all in my file when I open as a spreadsheet, all I see are the semi colons between each entry. When I open as a text file I see the quotation marks.
I removed them and saved and tried importing again after I did the clear custom awards database and download awards but nothing seemed to happen and another custom award I have is still in there. WFF is still blank.

I tried to reply to your email and again I got an undeliverable message as follows-:
The reason for the problem:
5.4.7 - Delivery expired (message too old) [Default] 421-'Too many messages (1.5.7.2) from un-validated IP address: 203.59.1.153. I did not think I was a bulk sender.

Go to the awards folder at C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\LogOM\awards

Save any awards you want to keep to another location

Delete the awards folder at C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\LogOM\awards

Reinstall Log4om (No need to uninstall)

Then update the awards again

re-installed, updated awards and still no WFF.
There is no Awards folder in user/dave/appdata/roaming/LogOM.

Fixed.

The cause
Because the CSV file contained inverted commas, when David 'Imported' it the database was erased and nothing imported, that is because an import erases the existing data.

Had it been done with a 'Merge' then the new data would have been appended to the existing data and if the data being merged was corrupted with inverted commas then no merge would have transpired and the existing data would remain undamaged.

The Cure
I deleted the WFF award from the awards manager in the Log4OM utilities drop down, then updated the awards database followed by a restart of Log4OM - The awards were all present - Happy Days :D

Thanks for the help Terry to bring back the WFF database.
Now there is good news and bad news. The good news is I was able to merge the new parks using the corrected file with no quotation marks.
The bad news is that the new parks do not appear in the awards drop down under F3, except for one that I edited due to a strange character.
Just received your file, will try that.
