Blank cluster window on one installation

Post by M6VMO »

Hello,
I have installed LOG4OM on two different machines.
The problem is, on one installation the cluster window shows all the clusters beautifully, while on the other one, a blank screen stares me in the face.

As far as I can see, all my configurations are identical.
Has anyone got any idea what could be causing this?

Cheers.

Frankie.

Long shot...

Are you running both installs at the same time? Some clusters only allow one session per user. If that's the case, the other installation will need to access a diferent cluster.

No, I run both installs separately.
I installed them on two machines in order to work with two radios.
One is a fixed mobile rig and the other one is a handie which I use in a different room and hence I use a different machine to run it on.

Thank you.

Frankie,

Are you logging into the same cluster from the two separate machines?

If you are you should use an SSID identifier with your cluster logins. Reason being as that some clusters will fuss at you when using the same login from two different machines.

In my case I will use: KI5IO-0, KI5IO-1, KI5IO-2 ... etc., etc..

No, I am not, Nolan.
I use different clusters on both machines.
Thank you for this handy tip, though.

Thank you everyone.
I just reset the offending one to factory settings and it now works as it should.
