Contest mode

Post by KA4CDN »

I can't get the contest mode to enable. I'm trying to setup ARRL Inter. DX Contest. The date range was good and I've even expanded it. I've got a fixed string entered. It is saved (w/ the disk icon). What else do I need to do?

In image following, I've opened the Contest window (using the Crown) and then opened the Contest Setting dialog to show the settings.

Mike,

Click on the Contest Crown to "enable" the contest you have set up.

I did that. That is what brought up the Contest Log window. Should the "Crown" turn green? Mine doesn't change in any appearance, just opens the new Log window. Seems to do the exact same thing as the main menu Contest->Contest.

OH! I see - there is another Crown in the Contest Log Window. Thanks for the help!

You have not enabled the contest mode. Set up a contest, then open the contest log window, as you have, then click on the Crown icon...

Try enabling the contest set up like dates etc from the Contest menu on the top tool bar of the main UI before opening the contest window
