The program closes on its own

Post by iw5akt »

Hello,
since I updated Log4OM2 to version 2.5.0.0 the program closes itself after about 3 hours. This has already happened to me many times.
Do you have any advice?
Thank you.

Claudio,

Is this "shut-down" still happening?

If it is take a look at the information needed and consider submitting a support ticket to see if we can help you debug this situation.

Hi,
the closure of the program still continues, but I would say randomly. The problem started after updating to version 2.5.0.0.
I checked the log but found nothing.
If you have any suggestions.
Thanks.

Im starting to have the same problem here. I am still using 2.4.0. Everything has been fine up until the past few days.

Have y'all looked at your Log File for any clues that may have been entered when it closed down?

Go to: Help / Open Log File

You may have to default the log level up to debug or trace to capture more data, but doing that can sometimes slow down the APP and could be tedious with an intermittent issue such as this.

Does this happen while you are operating?

It happened to me several times while I was working with the program: inserting new qso, checking propagation; other times it closed when the program was doing nothing.
On no occasion did I have any other programs open on my pc.

Ok assuming your windows battery saving and hibernation settings are OK I would suggest a clean reinstall of Log4om
