CW showing Green

Post by g4cfp »

I've been sorting out my QSO's / Worked and notice that even though I have not worked a station on 80 CW the green dot indicated I have, enter a number of stations and they all show that I have worked them on CW. I have checked the Worked list to see if CW was selected in any of the QSO's and there is no entry for CW.
Is there anyway for finding and correcting this issue?

Thanks

It's an indicator that the COUNTRY was worked on that mode not the station

Hi Terry

I have checked my CW contacts and the 80m ones do show up as you explained, however I have a CW contact made on 17m which is not showing up in the Stat's screen for that band and mode.

Is there anyway of fixing this?

Cheers

Hi Terry

Think I understand it now, Once I tried to log a new call with EY30 (the CW contact) only the 17m green indicator showed up.

Thanks

Yes because unless you insert the same country it will not show, remember its country based and displays countries worked by band and mode

BTW I had tested that before your second post and it works as designed

Hi Terry

Sorry for the miss understanding, the program works great, it sometimes forgets the 23cm band when logging a contact but its not an issue.

Hi Terry

When using my IC-9700 and when I select 2m on the radio the Band is populated in the Band Box in LOG4OM and the same with 70cm, both also populate the Mode and Frequency, however if I select 23cm on the IC-9700 the Mode and Frequency are populated but not the Band. There is a red square with a yellow warning triangle in the centre of the red square to the right of the Lock indicator.

I'm able to use the dropdown list and to select 23cm but its not automatic like 2m and 70cm. I'm using Omni-Rig version 1.19 as I also have a IC-7300

Hope this helps?

That will be because its not in the region 1 bandplan, let me have the 23cm bandplan and I will update the bandplan
