Contest name and exchange not saved

Post by F4VWD »

I'm using v2.9.0 and Fldigi with 'Generic Contest' selected. In Log4OM I have Contest Mode set but as I save a QSO from Fldigi the contest name and exchange are not saved in the logbook. Any idea what I'm doing wrong??

Log4OM stores what it received from other softwares via UDP. Don´t know that FLdigi can handle contest manes/numbers.
In Log4OM is only stored what it receives from 3rd party softwares like FLdigi.

Fldigi does handle contest names and exchanges but for some reason Log4OM won't save the QSO as a contest QSO.

This may be true but are you certain that that information is actually sent to Log4OM via the XML interface?

Perhaps check the Log4OM logfile in trace mode and monitor the incoming data from FLDigi or use the 'Message listener' in the Log4OM configuration/connections
