ADIF export, incorrect character count for <STATE> field

The <STATE> field of an adif export (ver 2.2.0.0) is using an incorrect character count, it is including a count of characters associated with any comments added to the end of the State data.
eg.
<STATE:45>SL // Sakhalinskaya oblast' (Sakhalin Oblast)
Any characters after and including the "//" are comments and should not be included in the character count.
The correct format for the above example should be...
<STATE:2>SL // Sakhalinskaya oblast' (Sakhalin Oblast)

eg.
<STATE:45>SL // Sakhalinskaya oblast' (Sakhalin Oblast)
