LOTW status from WSJTX via UDP gets "requested" status

Post by PE5TT »

Hello,

When a QSO is added via the UDP connection with WSJTX they get the status "requested", although i have the default status set to "No" in settings -> confirmations.

It strikes me as a little odd that the default value is set to "requested" as there is nothing sent to LOTW nor EQSL

Thanks for reporting.
If your default is NO, that should be saved as NO, but if the incoming ADIF contains a value for LOTW_QSL_SENT this value will be preserved on import.

Checking that issue

With 2.7.0.0 I have the opposite problem!

Up until now WSJT-X QSO''s showed up with LOTW SENT status as "Requested". Suddenly they show up as "No" and do not upload.

It seems like something in Utilities/QSL Manager changed with 2.7. “Select Required” refuses to search for No and resets query to Requested. This was not the case with 2.6.

I can still upload to LoTW and EQSL, but only by doing a manual search and select rather that using the select required. I don’t have automatic uploads set.

As a follow-up..

Resetting Confirmations to the defaults and then reselecting my preferred choices fixed things. Not sure how it got out of sync.

I can check that but i doubt that it sets QSL_SENT to "requested" directly after making an QSO and before anything is uploaded to any service. i really don't get it to set QSL_SENT to "requested" at default. Or that it is even possible to set status to "requested" on a new QSO.

noticed this tonight... my take is similar to K0HB.... usually I just import my wsjt adif manually, and tonight I saw this behavior... used to always import to requested as per settings, so I could immediately go to QSL manager, and "Select Requested" and upload.. but now was no for LOTW, EQSL, and QRZ...
