Re: Logging 60M QSO Issues

I first made certain the bands were selected correctly in the settings/program configuration/user preferences menu. And they were.

Then I updated a copy of the bandplan_dxcc291.xml, added a set of XML entries for the CW frequencies and tried my test case again.

I still have the same issue.

My next move would be to uninstall and reinstall the product.

Before I do this, can anyone in Region 2 confirm they are having the same issue as I am? If no one is having the same issue with logging 60M QSO's then it would have to be I hosed something somewhere in my configuration.

Either way, I can't see how any US station logging a CW or USB 60M QSO for that matter would not have an issue with the bandplan_dxcc291.xml file.

To get the QSO into the database I had to manually select the 60m band and then press Enter. And even then, when I view the QSO using the Edit QSO dialog the Band and RX Band fields are empty for ONLY 60m QSO's.

Thanks Terry for your support.

I have confirmed via N1FG that he has no issue logging 60M QSO's.

He is sending me a copy of his bandplan and I will try again ....

I'll keep y'all posted .....

Ok I did get things to work successfully ....

My first two attempts at changing the bandplan_dxcc291.xml file were incorrect.

My friend Larry, N1FG, provided a correct bandplan_dxcc291.xml file that works correctly.

I have attached the file he provided.

To avoid the file being overwritten on next program update insert under score user like bandplan_r2_ user.xml
