Manual Log Inputs

Post by WA2SQQ »

Given the present feature set, has anyone created the best work flow for manually inputting old contacts?

Yes I have. Unfortunately. we are talking about QSO's from the 19080's. Many of the ops have passed away and call signs have been reassigned. The lookup / update feature too often can't find the call or inputs the current info which isn't correct. It creates double work.

If name, city, state and country were added, one could bypass the auto update and accept the manual input, as is. I’ve been told that there might be a 3rd party program that could also be used to create an ADIF file that can be imported.

Might be an interesting topic to get some user input on. I appreciate the offer to add fields, but the more input you get,the better it can be.
