Hi folks,
Most times I don´t get a distance calculation in the main window and in my log, sometimes I have one.
On what is the distance calculation depending?

Re: No distance is logged
Distance is calculated on the distance between your grid locator and that of the other station

Re: No distance is logged
Hello Thomas, are these contacts logged directly in Log4OM or are that imported contacts ?
If imported and the import ADIF does not contain a distance it stays at 0 so Log4OM don´t
calculate anything while importing.

73´s .. Juergen ... ALT-512 SDR (10W) , 50 m random wire at SG-211 autotuner, 2 x Xiegu G90 (20W HF TRX) one as portable Radio. Also TS-790E (40 W) for VHF/UHF with X-50 vertical and Duoband 4-Element LPDA.
Re: No distance is logged
Hi Juergen,
QSO´s are rerouted via Gridtracker, there I have activated the direct logging to Log4OM and I have an inbound rule in Log4OM as ADIF_MESSAGE.
Gridtracker is showing the distance correct in its call rooster, mabe it´s missing in the ADIF message from GT to Log4OM?
Maybe there is another combination between JTDX, Gridtracker and Log4OM, which works better.

Re: No distance is logged
This also happens when i do a import of QSO's from my contest logger dxlog.net ,don't think it happened in the log4om 1 versions, i never saw 0 distance there.
I can be fixed in the "QSO manager". Select all QSO's that don't have distance then go to the "QSO Checks" tab. You probably have to deselect SIMULATION

Re: No distance is logged
I tried to update the missing distance values via QSO manager - QSO check. But it also doesn´t update the QSO´s with zero value, although both grids are valid.
Maybe there could be a problem in the calculation method of the location-distance formula?
