I will state up front that I believe my issue is operator error. I am at a loss to figure this out so here goes:
I am using Win4Icom for my 7300. I have downloaded and successfully setup Omnirig for Cat on control between Log4OM and win4icom. Also I was successful getting WSJT to run with Ominrig. The problem started when I could not decode FT8, after much work I determined the problem being my old laptop that I am using. With Win4Icom, log4om and WSJT the CPU was max'd out. This is when my issued started. I then tried to utilize just Log4OM and WSJT but could not ever get the Cat control to work on Log4OM but the QSO's would download with no issues. I then tried to reset every thing up again with Win4Icom and have never been able to get Log4OM to show Cat control. I have confirmed that all programs are user admin, the ports in Omnirig are set per the instruction in the manual and per youtubes. I also, verified the settings of the 7300 per the manual.
I believe there is a simple solution but I cannot figure this out.
By the way, I truly love Log4OM. Thanks for what you all do.

Did you install the genuine Icom USB Drivers for windows? It's should show the com port as Silicon labs

Re: Cat Control quit working on Win4Icom
What version numbers of Log4om and WSJT are you using?
Does CAT work just with Log4om - no wsjt running?
Have you checked in the 7300 menu that all settings are correct like usb unlinked etc?

Re: Cat Control quit working on Win4Icom
Log4OM was working until I tried to connect just with WSJT. I was never able to get Cat control with WSJT. WSJT works with Omnirig with no issues.
Sorry about the lack of response on the middle question i over looked it.

Re: Cat Control quit working on Win4Icom
I will give it try soon. Thanks for helping.
Re: Cat Control quit working on Win4Icom
Terry I installed the link, sorry it didn't start the CAT. Some more info, I am running COM o Com with Port 10 and 11 assigned to LOG4OM, WSJT continues to work. As I said everything was working until I tried to reconfigure Log4OM to the Com 3 port directly to the radio, LOg4om had no Cat but WSJT worked. When I tried to reconfigure back to Win4Icom, Log4Om would not go to Cat.
As i stated I think that it is my issue but cannot figure out what I have done.

Re: Cat Control quit working on Win4Icom
From what you said earlier it seems your no longer using Win4Icom so Com0Com is not required
Stop Com0Com and WSJT
Try to connect Log4OM using Omnirig direct to the 7300 com port
Report back results
