QSO not Saved. Check Band/Mode/Callsign/Date Error

Post by ke8tyf »

Hello,
I just started using Log4OM and I REALLY like it so far. When I edit a QSO is seems to forget the Band and Rx Band of the QSO and won't let me save the edits until I reenter the Band info. For example in the attached screenshot I edited the QSO and added "Test notes!" to the note filed. When I went to save it I got the error in red "QSO not saved. Check Band/Mode/Callsign/Date". I then had to add the Band and Rx Band back in before I could save it. This happens every time I edit a QSO. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Thank you.

Please update log4om

Your entering frequency wrong should be 21345 in first box

Do you have cat control connected

Ah yes!!! That was the problem. I misunderstood how to enter the frequency. I was entering the KHz and Hz in separate boxes. Once I entered it all in the KHz box as you suggested it works great. Thank you.

There a no Hz in a kHz part. The frequency must me set in kHz and 21,272 MHz is 21272 kHz without the comma.
The HZ is if your TX shows 21272,100 kHz or equivalent.
