Log4OM

Pls don't take offense. Different users/different needs? Why not both? Surely the reasoning is clear.
Lots of packages have a band map. The scanner view as far as I know was unique and I often proclaimed its usefulness to visitors to my shack.

I have to admit to using Band Master as it does not become too cluttered when there is some band activity, plus it follows the frequency of my radio. Shame it is not integrated into Log4OM so I can see what I have worked before. The Band Map is a good idea but needs a lot more development to be usable.
