M=S (A=B) button next to "SPLIT"

Post by g4vwi »

I have made changes to my filter settings in Omni-Rig.

This is to best suit my operating practices. In particular using the IC7851 in CW mode. Thanks for the support and help from Bob N6TV. However, when operating SPLIT and or working with WSJT-X the SUB band does not change to the same mode or filter setting. Though it's possible to send "compound commands" to set both MAIN and SUB to the same mode, this does not work reliably. It was suggested using the M=S button, which is supported by the .ini file in the PmVfoEqual command.
Is it possible for Log4OMv2 to create a button that does A=B (or "M=S" in Icom terminology), as that is a basic command supported by most Omni-Rig .INI files.

Just a suggestion unless someone can come up with another "on-screen" solution. I know this is not a rig control programme as such but this feature would be most beneficial.

Best wishes |Derek G4VWI.
