I have two rigs ic-746 non pro. and ic-707. I have the ic-746 working with omnirig. the ic-707 is not covered in omnirig. In hamlib the rig is covered, but will not work. The ic-707 Works fine with HRD. I use the ic-707 a fair amount. Is there any help with this isuue?? I don't think ham is a reliable product. please help.. thanks

Did you try any of the other Omnirig selections for the 707 many of the Yaesu set ups will work with others

As a new user I went for Omnirig (I think it mentioned in the user manual it may be the better option) and once I tweaked the baud rate in the rig from it's default, is working lovely.
No reason to change, and I have recommended a friend use it also, after recommending Log4OM to him and him loving it too.
Omnirig on FT-897D

I have a remote QTH with TS-480. I used to use Omnirig, but at one point it stopped working and after a lengthy experimenting with it I gave up and switched to Hamlib.

I don't recall what exactly it was that caused my Omnirig issue. It might have been an addition of a new hardware (at the remote site) and/or new software (at home), but yes, at one point I was no longer able to use LOG4OM with Omnirig.

I'm sure this post is not very helpful... sorry... if I do recall what my issue was, I will post details.
