Re: Log4OM v2
Version 1 was originally designed for Lele's personal use and not for distribution to a world wide audience so the base framework was quiet basic which made it impossible to add some of the features that were requested.
To use an analogy it was a bit like building a two storey building and then wanting to change it to a skyscraper, the foundations would not be strong enough!
So version 2 overcomes this by having a better platform to build on, enabling things like font sizes to be addressed as just one example.
There are many new features on our list for inclusion but at this point it we wont disclose the new features because we dot want other developers to use our ideas.
Development of V2 is being slowed down because Lele is under a lot of pressure at work and is spending a lot of time in Poland on behalf of the company he works for, he is working seven days a week at this time

Re: Log4OM v2
using actual CAT software, yes.
Reinventing the CAT software, filling the gap with more consolidated software like omnirig or hamlib is pretty out of scope.

Hello Lele,
Best regards.
Now that you have expressed some information about V2 i would like to ask if you are thinking to include in V2:
-> BandMap
-> Better Mixw Integration
-> Possibility to show qso after a double click on statistics Cells (F9 View) in order to show the qso according tha QSL staus "W" or "C"
-> A more handy way to check qsl status for a given IOTA without the need to go Utilities+ Statistics and Awards + Award + Iota + Iota Mixed and then scroll up/down. Going to F8 and "Search Parameters" we do need some typing also, perhaps a textbox to check the value would be very interesting, more bandy.
When you have opportunity could you please comment?
Best regards.
