Hi All
When downloading from LOTW I have allways changed the date back to the original date I started using my call, But should I only do it from the last date of download,
I thought that the date was just the date of QSO so I allways set it at the start not to miss any QSO's but am I right in thinking it just the date of the cconfirmation in LOTW and not the date of the QSO??
Thanks
Trevor

Re: LOTW Downloads
Hi Trevor,
I have to admit to not being clear about the information LOTW supplies so for safety I personally use the earliest QSO date to ensure that no matches are missed.

Re: LOTW Downloads
LotW is using the date of incoming verifications. That means you can use the date since your last download. All Iincoming verifications for older QSO dates not will be lost. Would be a nice idea if the software "remebers" the date of the last download
73´s .. Juergen ... ALT-512 SDR (10W) , 50 m random wire at SG-211 autotuner, 2 x Xiegu G90 (20W HF TRX) one as portable Radio. Also TS-790E (40 W) for VHF/UHF with X-50 vertical and Duoband 4-Element LPDA.
Re: LOTW Downloads
Thanks for the replies, I tested it today and it did download matches for QSO's older than the date in the box so I know understand the correct way to use this function.
Thanks for a great program, havn't seen many updates in the last while I'm looking forward to seeing some new features soon.

Hi all,
every time time I see a discussion on LOW I could not resist to see news on argument.
starting TSL (non upload/download from Log4OM) it propose me to update to version V1.14.3
Now the I have seems that configuration file is non changed from june and program work.
Is a good choice ?
Seems that top log program (LOG4OM) work without problems (no doubt about it)

Re: LOTW Downloads
Keep it updated. If something changes in their protocol you can still revert to older version.
Log4OM is also using the previous generation of TQSL without troubles, recognizing the correct version (and new features)
