If at some time Linux and Apple provide a bug free Mono library for the OS we might consider it, meanwhile some users run Log4OM under Wine

i can also advice "crossover" it is a linux tool which made much easyer to use then wine. You install crossover, then install .NET 4.0 in a 'bottle'. After that you can install the .exe file from log4om install file. And almost ready.
Then install a mysql-server and put them in the database config from log40m. And voila.. it works....but.... (there is always a 'but' crossover is a payed version. which i am using for more software. There are more kind of software to do this. Someting like 'PlayOnLinux' ore Wine-Tools.

But i think when log4om will be find in linux it would be the best of the best in his kind of software. There are a lot of hamtools.. but not that kind of quality as Log40m !
