T10 mode

Post by F6DHD »

Hello,
JTDX supports the T10 mode.
JTAlert can write it to Log4OM, but if we need to edit it, the T10 is not proposed (if I'm right).
Will that be possible in the future?

Did you have latest Log4OM running ? If not download and install ist.
If there´s no T10 in the Mode dropdown menu you can copy the 2
files of the attached RAR file into your Log4OM configuration folder.

If you like to upload to the LotW also you have to download and install
the latest TQSL software from ARRL LotW too.
FT8_T10_ Update.rar

Easiest way to open your configuration folder ist to open Log4OM and
open the HELP menu. In that dropdown you will find "Open configuration Folder".
If you hit on it the folder will be opened. Now unpack the attaches RAR file
and copy both files into this folder. After doing that restart Log4OM and all
will be fine.

T10 was only added to the ADIF specification 3.07 last week so the next release of Log4OM will include that mode and any other changes to the ADIF format.

At this time I suggest you follow the instructions provided by Juergen

Hi Juergen and Terry,

Thanks for your answers.
As long as JTAlert saves the qso, there is no problem, and T10 appears in mode.
The issue appeared to me when I tried to edit a qso ...

Thanks for the tip Juergen.

Use Jürgen's files and you wont have problems editing the QSO

Hi Chris,

don´t forget to delete the Modelist_user.csv after you are uprading to the
next release of Log4OM. If there are some changes in the Modelist.csv the
software will only use the user related file.

So if you upgrade to V1.31 (should be the next maintenance release) delete
the Modelist_user file. It´s not needed that you delete the RST file too. This
will be overwritten when installing the next release ...

Have fun with Log4OM ... ;) ;)
