New HamQTH privacy rules

Post by DF5WW »

Info from Petr, HamQTH owner:

Hi,

as you probably know, there is a new law called General Data Protection Regulation. I did a lot of changes to HamQTH code to meet most of new rules. GDPR is very complicated, so hopefully I did it right.

If you open Edit profile page, there is a new section called Privacy where you can set all privacy details e.g. not show RBN data to unregistered users. Default settings are very restricted, without registration you won't see most of the data stored to HamQTH. I'm sorry but I didn't find any better solution.

Information what HamQTH does with your data is described on new Privacy page.

If you have any question, contact me on my email xxxxxxxx or use the Contact form on HamQTH website. It may take some time to get a reply form me, I get really lot of emails every day.
