OmniRig

Post by W3LI »

I have been trying to control my Orion2 via OmniRig but to no avail. I have removed OmniRig twice now and have down loaded it for the third time, but still does not work. The CAT status never changes from red to green for one thing. The cable I am using is the same cable I use to download software updates so I know it is good. Also, I switched back to N3FJP ACLog and it controls the Orion 2 just fine. Can not follow this procedure very well.
Thanks for any help.

Terry, the lights finally came on and I went to Device Manager to see what com port was being used. All is working well now. Took me awhile to figure out that I had to double click on a spot in order to tune the radio. Will save the Skype conversation for the next problem.
