I'm posting this on behalf a friend of mine. He's a new LOG4OM user, and he'd like to know if anyone has any experience with Microham Microkeyer II. Any potential issues with LOG4OM?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Microham Microkeyer II and LOG4OM
Hi Marvin,
There have been no reported instances of problems with the Microham units and I know a couple of people that are using them quiet happily with Log4om.

Marvin,
I no longer use a microKeyer II, but still use a digiKeyer II with Log4OM. Log4OM and the microHam products work just fine together. If any other software he has is working, there won't be any problems with Log4OM.

How do you connect the MK II with version 1.16.0?
Hamlib or ... can connect via USB direct to my TS590S - but not via MK II - as I remember this feature will be active in V1.17.x latest - or do everybody use a Beta Version?
How to configure MK II to give direct CW e.g.? I have to use FLdigi or what else for this or did I miss something?
Greetings Peter

You can use the Digikeyer MkII for cat control and sound card but just not the built in Winkeyer for CW with Log4om, everything else will work fine just not the CW keyer.
I suggest that you use Omnirig instead of Hamlib
You could of course use the Winkeyer software from K1EL in conjunction with Log4OM, that's what I do with my US Navigator!

Winkeyer support is not in 1.17 but hopefully it will be added in a later release

I'm studying the technical manual. It will be added probably from 1.18
