Tx pwr entry?

Post by M0GWD »

Good morning

Just a quick question please. When entering details of a QSO in the log, where do I find the box to enter the TX power used in that QSO?
I have the Tx pwr column enabled, but do not know how to input the TX pwr figure.

Many thanks

Go to the Settings screen and then the Station Info tab to set the TX Pwr.

Chuck is correct.

At this time that is the only way to change it, you cannot change the power for each QSO, on the fly as it were!

OK thanks.

Another question then please. Say I set the Tx power to 100W. Does that alter the TX power of any QSOs already in the log or just the new entries from that point on?
I don't want to amend the TX pwr of any previously imported log entries.

Surely it would be best if one could enter the transmit power when logging a QSO? I normally run 25w on 2m, perhaps 35w on 70cm plus varying powers on HF dependant upon rig used. My QSL cards state transmit power used so I need to log it. Going into the settings menu each time seems somewhat unwieldy. Perhaps something fro the development team?

Many thanks

Hi Mick,
The old QSOs will not be changed.

There needs to be a method to alter the power on a given QSO.

Hello Terry, a very good afternoon to you.

Thanks for both yours and Chuck's advice. I think in the meantime I'll just put the TX power in the comments box - seems an easy way out for the moment.
Thanks for taking the idea on board.

All the best
