CAT not connecting

Post by J85K »

I seem to have developed a situation whereby the USB to Serial connector between the Yaesu FT 2000 and laptop is not/may not be connecting. (red Status button)

Is there any known bug with V1.22 at this time?

Thanks,

Kumar

Still working fine here between win8 and FT2000. Using V1.22 and USB to serial connector.

Thanks for confirming Terry.

I've traced it back to a unsuccessful attempt to update the ROM version on the Yaesu FT 2000 transceiver from two weeks ago. The 'baud rate setting' was incorrect.

1) Default is 4800

2) As a bonus, I'm also seeing VFO B now

3) It is a quick visual reminder, that if you are not seeing the VFO's on the right hand upper corner of the Log4OM program, you do NOT have CAT connectivity.

4) While it would be a 'new' feauture request, is there a way to amend (in my case, band and frequency information) bulk changes to a 'set' of records? It was tedious to amend the last two weeks log entries one by one.

Thanks for the quick response.

Band yes if there are multiple QSO's on the same band, just use the QSO archive manager

Frequency could be done also but it is unlikely that many QSO's were on the same frequency
