I have dome SOTA activation, and now I need to upload log to SOTA site at http://www.sotadata.org.uk/ActivatorCSV.aspx.
I cannot find option in Log4OM that exports appropriate log file that I can upload.
SOTA site explains log fiel format at http://www.sotadata.org.uk/ActivatorCSVInfo.htm. I tried to make it using log export to CSV, but it seems to not have enough options to be set properly.
Also, I need CSV export for other purposes so even if I manage to set SOTA format properly, next time I need to export to different format, i would loose SOTA export settings.
I hope I am simply missing option.
I did search manual and internet sources but all I could find were explanations regarding SOTA chasers logging and award handling, but not SOTA activators.
How to export SOTA activator log to upload to SOTA site?

Re: How to export SOTA activator log to upload to SOTA site?
Thanks. I did watch those videos, and the only reference to Activators mentioned was setting up My SOTA in options. I saw no info about exporting Activator data.
However, after searching through options I stumbled upon option View Type that has Activator as one of the items. Changing that I finally got selected QSOs that I did as Activator. I will now try to use that to export data. I guess that would do the job.

Re: How to export SOTA activator log to upload to SOTA site?
I tested it out, and exporting indeed works fine.
Except there is one issue. I have 70 QSO's in LOG activation SOTA reference. When I use this option it finds 51 of them.
I checked log. My SOTA Ref is set properly (and the same) for all 70 records. Is there something else that could influence selecting records that I should check?

Re: How to export SOTA activator log to upload to SOTA site?
If all 70 QSO's are displaying in the SOTA stastics window and also in the export selection screen (As shown below) I cant see why you are having issues, I just checked and its working correctly when exporting a selection (Export selection as Activator) and when exporting all (Export as an Activator)
Probably something wrong with the QSO data entered?

Re: How to export SOTA activator log to upload to SOTA site?
That is the problem - statistics shows 52 QSOs out of 70. I checked records and see nothing different for those records that do not show in statistics.
I found two records that are missing in statistics. One is LZ station, other is TA station. LZ and TA are not in SOTA, so maybe Lo4OM for some reason mistakenly filters out QSOs with contacts that are not originating from SOTA countries?
I guess that is the issue. I have to check all countries to get data selected but there are only countries included in SOTA listed. I guess it would help if there is option to set filter to disregard country info. For activators, country of a contact does not matter.

As an activator any valid DXCC cuntry is acceptable, clearly Kosovo etc are not condideredyt9tp wrote:so maybe Lo4OM for some reason mistakenly filters out QSOs with contacts that are not originating from SOTA countries?
I assume that when you went to the SOTA awards screen that you selected all of the countries by clicking the small green plus sign + just under the word ~'Country' and mixed to ensure that all possible QSO's are displayed
No date range to avoid excluding QSO's by date
And either Activator or Chaser or S2S according to your requirements

Yes, I checked all countries and then i got 52 records. I also tried with countries unchecked but then I got no records selected.
I will try again. Maybe something else interfered.

I tried again. Indeed, if no countries are selected no records show in statistics.
