Note v. Comment fields

What is the different between the note field and comment field?

Is one preferred for some types of information - say specific to the call sign or specific to the particular QSO?

No its just your choice, however the comments field is the more commonly used field

I usually keep QSO informations on comments (references and other), and my informations (sota, iota, my references) on notes but, as terry said, is free.

Log4OM, anyway, can fill COMMENT with informations retrieved from cluster, filling the COMMENT drop down. You can select the informations to store with
