Hi,
my problem. Using my Flex 1k5 with Log4Om. Connected via omnirig. For 2m i use a seperate 2m allmode TRX (IC-245E) which is not connected to the computer. If good conditions i monitoring 6m with the Flex and 2m with the Icom. If i have a QSO on 2 i have to disconnect the Flex from Log4Om that i can use manual bandchange in the logger (if connected not works).
Woud be nice to log the 2m contacts without disconnecting the Flex. Is there a way to do this ???

Re: Manual bandchange if connected
Just set up Omnirig Rig 2 for None in the rig field and when you want to add a 2 meter QSO change the rig to 2 at the top of the screen - Because its set to None for rig 2 there will not be a connection and you can log manually

Hi Terry,
have tried as you said. Rig1 is PowerSDR and Rig 2 set to "None" ...... If i switch from Rig 1 to Rig2 No Frequency and Band will be showing from the Transceiver but the Band and frequency is grayed out. No manual changes possible
The pcture shows it without any call entered in the logfield but also greyed out if a call is in the logfield

Hi Juergen,
That should have worked but I just checked and you are correct!
I will add this to Mantis for correction.

Re: Manual bandchange if connected
Right.
Log4OM is expecting a RIG on channel 2, and wait for a message from the rig itself.
This is not an error, it's how it works (actually).
I'll check if there is something to do to avoid this behaviour, but omnirig is event driven and i cannot assume it's connected or not, because i'm not knowing when omnirig will send next value (and if).
