Cannot log 60m

Post by K0AY »

Under the latest version, I cannot log a QSO on 60m.
The area around the band entry turns red and does not let me proceed.
I would amend the band plan for 60m but there is not one listed among the others. If someone could give me a general patch from 5332 continuing through 5405, I would appreciate it.
I thought I had a workaround. I switched my rig to 80m. then logged the QSO.
I then edited the QSO for 60m. as well as the frequency. After uploading it to LOTW, I noticed that it was listed as crossband showing 80m and 60m. editing the QSO again, I cannot see any reference to 80m. If someone can show me where 80m.is shown on the QSO record I would be very appreciative.

OK, I also found a different workaround. I'm in region 2 for which there is no bandplan that includes 60m. (yet). But region 1 does. So I disabled region 2 and changed the name of region 1 to 2. It seems to work at least for 60m.

we're about to release "country" bandplan for some countries, but this is a good workaround, if everything else matches your bandplan.

As an alternative you can create a copy of the correct region bandplan adding an "_user.xml" and edit this, adding the 60mt section from the other bandplan.
