Label Time AM PM

Post by VE4DXR »

The Label qso time is in AM and PM rather than 24H format yet the QSO time is 24H. How can I change the label time to 24H? 73. Lee VE4DXR

The format follows what you have set as the default for windows so change the windows time setting

Well, then that needs to change. It should be consistent with the time format used in Log4OM, shouldn't it? I use my computer for a lot more than just ham radio logging, and for those other purposes, my computer clock will be set for 12 hr local time, but for radio purposes, I expect the logging software to make the local -> UTC conversion and use that in 24 hour format (or let me choose 12/24, either way.) I'm hoping we can get this changed since I'm betting most of us use 24 hour UTC time for our QSO's and QSL's.

Yes, the 24HR format for qsling is prefered. 73. Lee VE4DXR

Lele,

Will this (hopefully) be an item to toggle in V2 so those of use who do use "local" time for so many other things don't have to keep changing the display from 12 to 24 hours to keep many other APPs happy?
