Re: OMNIRIG and IC 7300 HELP
Hi Terry,
I think you Hit the nail on the head!
That's what I did eh!
I will try to uninstall all the Icom drivers and also reinstall OMNIRIG and see what happens.
Also just a point still cannot see IC-7300 on the cat listing in the Log4OM software.
regards,
TEX
ps thanks for the nice videos on Utube.

Make sure that you uninstall Omnirig to ensure that the latest ini files are installed with the new version of Omnirig - Don't use an existing download of Omnirig, download a new version

OMNIRIG and IC 7300 Help
Hi Terry
Got all working nicely but still getting used to new program also got it to work with WSJT and JT alert 90% of my work.
Have the 7300 file for omnirig but it is far from stable when on WSJT the QRG and or mode jumps and CAT is lost need reset WSJT, a bit annoying when in middile of QSO
Could not find Omniri forum any pointer would be welcomed

Re: OMNIRIG and IC 7300 HELP
Upon further investigation- observation I noted the following:
If doing QSO while doing changes to Log4OM TX was erratic if left the set up run and made no changes to Log4OM the it was stable ...
strange behaviour ?

Re: OMNIRIG and IC 7300 HELP
RF in the shack maybe?
I was just working some stations and was logging at the same time without issue so it's not the software!

Re: OMNIRIG and IC 7300 HELP
I thought as much anyway set up is absolutely all identical in all aspects
Just have to change the WSJT radio settings from Omnirig Rig 1 to HRD that is all that is changed power out 20W same etc etc .
BTW no RF in shack .
So currently using Rig control Jt alert logging to Log4OM works fine if not ideal .
