On your message 28 Dec 2014....
I will look in the .pdf file for the answer, if a "Comment"
is possible with Log4OM.

Rudi

Re: Comment for eQSL
After reading the manual, it seems that it's not
possible to insert a "Comment" in an eQSL card.
No answer here, no answer in the forum,
it's time to look for a new log ( may be in the DXlab suite...)
or return to the HRD V5 logbook.
Bad news for me, Log4OM was very "nice" for the other features.

Re: Comment for eQSL
I added that fields, that was not available before. Will be available on the next release.
Probably EQSL added support on that field later, i don't know. Asking for something on Facebook and complaining for a lack of answer in a working day between 16 and 21 it's a bit too much even for us. By the way i'm still @work
Frankly speaking i don't think comment field in eqsl is a life saver... but... everyone has it's own priorities...
Log4OM exports all your data in ADIF without keeping anything on it, so you can leave at any time without problems.
Good luck with your search, you can find us here.

Re: Comment for eQSL
Oh, by the way, don't expect EQSL will be able to read COMMENT field.
According to this page: http://www.eqsl.cc/qslcard/ADIFContentSpecs.cfm the COMMENT field is not supported, even in the OPTIONAL list. Maybe the page is outdated, and we try to send the field anyway, but this is the OFFICIAL documentation from eQSL...
Please read what is stated near QSLMSG field:
Truncated after 240 characters (Note: The field called 'COMMENT' is normally used only for private comments and is NOT printed on the eQSLs

I don't ask to include the "private" "Comment" in an eQSL "card", but the possibility to include a message;
for example, at the moment QRA64 is not accepted by eQSL and i would include, as i do this morning for my last QRA64A
QSO logged as JT44 with DX...r: "TU Ihsan for nice QRA64A QSO. My best 73, Rudi".
(I've posted 2 eQSL "cards" in the forum).

Re: Comment for eQSL
The inclusion of the 'Comments' field to be sent to eqsl for the QSLMSG field is completely wrong it should be our Log4OM QSL message field contents as belowDaniele,

Re: Comment for eQSL
RR, but it's not related to one QSO.
I found this option in "Log4Om Settings"'s window and i've no reference to a particular QSO.
