Having trouble maintaining CAT connection with my Yaesu FTdx1200. I don't see that rig listed in the software. Any suggestions appreciated.

Are you using Omnirig? If not I suggest that you download it and use it

I run a Yaesu FTdx-1200 also. Here are my settings:
Omni-Rig settings:
Rig type: FTdx3000
Port: Com1 (I run rs-232 straight from PC to rig. CSU-17 works also)
Baud ratge: 38,400
Data bits: 8
Parity: none
Stop bits: 1
RST: High
DTR: High
Poll int, ms: 500
Timeout, ms: 4000
FTdx-1200 settings:
Menu #39 Cat Rate: 38,400
Menu #40: CAT RTS: enable
Menu #41 CAT Time Out Timer: 10msec
Attached is a snapshot of my Omni-Rig settings.
