Clicks in the cluster will switch me to cw-r IC-7300
Clicks in the cluster will switch me to cw-r IC-7300
Hi, can anyone solve this problem? Clicks in cluster to CW station. On the radio, the IC-7300 switches me constantly to cw-r.

Hello OM,
did you use Omnirig for CAT or Hamlib ? If Omnirig close Log4OM, close Omnirig
and open the File in the Omnrig folder which handles your Transceiver. Change
the "Rules" for CW and CW-R and all will be fine.
I dont have an IC-7300 but i have changed the "Rule for you" ... Please copy
the attached File in your Omnirig Folder under "Rigs". Start Omnirig and try
out the IC-7300_CW.ini. Start Log4OM, use the cluster to change to a spotted
CW Station and tell us it works or not ...
L4O forum not needs .ini files nso i have it packed as RAR. Unpack it and copy
the file to your Omnirig Installation folder under /Rigs. Start Omnirig and change
your Rig to IC-7300_CW. After correct the settings (Com Port e.g.) close Omnirig
and start L4O...

Re: Clicks in the cluster will switch me to cw-r IC-7300
Nice that i could help as a Non IC-7300 user ..
Some problems can be solved if there is a software
which works with .ini files like Omnirig did. You can
change some rules for your setup only. In Hamlib it
is nearly impossible ...
By the way, i have mailed the problem to the programmer
of Omnirig and have attached my modified file. Hope in the
next release of Omnirig .ini Files the problem will be solved
for all Omnirig user are working with a IC-7300.

Re: Clicks in the cluster will switch me to cw-r IC-7300
Juergen,
OmniRig still presents same cw and cw-r problem with the Elecraft K3 rigs. I've had mine modified for some time now.
I also discovered that when clicking on a digital Q something similar happened. I modified the ini file for my Elecraft and that took care of the issue.
