Did you open the database from the File drop down?

What Chuck means is:

Have you opened your created database via the Log4OM file menu after you created it.
This should be made at the first step. After that you can close Log4OM and reopen it.

Now Log4OM is connected to your database on each new start.

You can see your database connect status at the lower right corner of the Log4OM Window.

So import is only possible if you are connected to the database before you import ADIF data. ;) ;)

Looks like your communicator is not online. If Log4OM starts it opens normally
the communicator and start it. Could be possible that you have set it not to
Autostart.

Start the communicator and retry the Import. Think that ADIF Import is impossible
when the communicator not runs and is started.
