I've been successfully running an Icom 7410 with Log4om and Omnirig. I just replaced the rig with an Icom 7300. I downloaded a clean version of Omnirig and the folder with Rigs into my download folder on my windows 8.1 tablet. I unzipped and ran omnirig exe. I could not find the 7300 in the Omni menu. What I learned is that when you run the .exe, a folder is setup called Afreet in Programs. This folder contains a "rig" folder that does not contain the 7300. Delete this folder and replace it with the just downloaded rig folder. If you look in this newly downloaded folder you should find support for the 7300. Make sure baud rates match and that the port numbers match. Worked fine at that point. It is working fine at 9600 baud. I tried 38400 and things didn't work. Haven't sorted that yet.
