Hello Juergen,

I removed the 1.30 version as you mentioned. I even removed my comodo firewall from my system.
I installed the 1.31.1 version and followed the steps you advised. The 1.3.1 version starts up and i inserted all
the standard things in diverend tabs. I checked the version nr. and it stated 1.31.1
I reinstalled the backups and adif files. Closed Log4OM and started it again. Same problem as i had when i executed 1.31 when 1.30 was already installed. The programs start and start "loading" endlessly. The program had to be stopped by the taksmanager.

Hello, Gerrit,

now I'm at a loss. Unfortunately, I can't help you with Team Viewer because
I just have a very slow internet connection here. Maybe there is someone else here who can take a look at your computer with Team Viewer.

I don't have another idea anymore. :?

Good afternoon Juergen.

I had a big computer crash after trying to remove old log4om objects yesterday.

Lucky i have a good backup.
I reinstalled 1.30 and that works, i wont upgrade.
Thanks for all your effort and help.

Hello Juergen,

Last update. After a long serach i found the problem.
If the new version 1.31.00 is executed in Windows 8.1, with administrator rights, tells the user (in the property box) that the user has to explicit
use the, for Windows, unknown program. After checking the box the new 1.31.00 version worked as to be expected.
Problem solved and to any helpers in this support TNX!
