Did I miss something with my upgrade ?? is there anything anyone can suggest to speed this loading up ??

Well, as it turns out, it IS a big issue. I have discovered that if I make an edit to any call, the changes take (in my case) 4 minutes to save and during this time my digital modes software hangs. The exact same thing is happening with Norm, VK7AC (who is not a member of this forum) Norm has just finished reinstalling 1.30.0.0 and he tells me it is working perfectly. It is obvious that there is a BIG problem with 1.31.0.0 so, in a few moments I too will be going back to that older version.

Adding info for the interest of other readers... I have just completed re-installing 1.30.0.0 and yipeeeee, everything is back to normal. My database loaded in the usual 35 to 40 seconds and speed of everything is back to normal.
If you too decide to step back one suggestion, when 1.30.0.0. completes a box pops up asking if you want to launch Log4om and Onmirig... I suggest you untick the Log4om box, and allow omnirig to launch on its own this first time. Once the omnirig launch completes (a few seconds) then start log4om..

John

I'm investigating the issue. Expect a fix soon. I'm sorry, beta testing didn't revealed that glitch.

After updating to Ver1.31.o Log4om has become unusable for me as during my usual JT65 session this morning I usually update my data base downloading from EQSL as well as new QSO,S from jt65 causing Log4om to lock up, I decided to go back to version1.30.0 and again it works flawlessly. I am using SQL lite with in excess of 50.000 QSOs also WIN 10 64bit pro, Tried a 2nd time with the update same thing so I will remain on the older version for now.

Hi Terry,

the webside is on and i have downloaded the aktual 1.31 but the setup file in the ZIP has the date 26.01.2018
so it looks like this is the "non fixed" ... ?
73´s .. Juergen ... ALT-512 SDR (10W) , 50 m random wire at SG-211 autotuner, 2 x Xiegu G90 (20W HF TRX) one as portable Radio. Also TS-790E (40 W) for VHF/UHF with X-50 vertical and Duoband 4-Element LPDA.

Version 1.31.1 cured the DB issues, loading and QSO editing.
Thanks for the quick response.
