LoTW QSL download problem

Post by G8AJM »

I have been using QSL Tools/QSL Management very successfully for uploading new QSOs and downloading new QSLs from LoTW but a few days ago the download produced an error and I’ve not been able to correct it. The only changes I have made was to the LoTW password but that doesn’t seem to have had any bad effects and the error message looks like login to LoTW was successful, it just seems that Log4OM doesn’t like what LoTW supplies on download. Checking on LoTW, there are new QSLs to download so maybe I have broken something. A screenshot of the error message is attached.

Grateful for any thoughts or suggestions as to what might be the problem.

What version of Log4om are you using

Your password must not contain special characters like @#$%^&*()!?"+×÷=/_€£ etc

Hi Terry, I'm using 1.32 and yes I do have some of those characters, I got the password as a result of requesting a new one from ARRL. I guess I need to find out how to change it manually and give it a go with a simpler pw.

Many thanks
