In the "Update QSO" form, the "Mode" dropdown does not include a selection for "FT8".

Please always let us know what version of Log4OM you are using
If you are using the latest version the probable reason for your issue is the presence of a user mode list.
Please go to your C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\LogOM folder and look for a file named something like modelist_user.csv if it exists then delete it and restart Log4OM

B.t.w. in the newer Versions you´ll find FT8 in alphabetical order. So don´t look to the
JT modes look close to FM ....
