how to communicate Log4OM with MSHV

Hello,

Can we register a QSO on MSHV with Log4OM.
I installed VSPE but I do not understand how to configure it to register a contact via MSHV.
If anyone has the solution, with a text if possible with images of the procedure.
Thank you for helping me.

Hi Terry,

Thanks Terry for watching my request.
I wanted to know if it is possible to record a QSO that I add in the log of MSHV to Log4OM via the UDP port as in JTDX without going through JTAlert because MSHV is not compatible.
It seemed to me that i had to create a virtual port with VSP but I do not understand the configuration.
I tried several possibilities but without any result
I hope you understand me because my English is not perfect

Thanks Michel F1ABL

No a virtual port is for CAT control not logging

The author of the other software would need to add a provision to log to our software in the same way as JTAlert

Alternatively if JTalert works with this other software then JZTAlert can pass the QSO tò log4om

Hi Terry,

thank you for your explanation, ok for CAT control via VSP sorry for my confusion, I understand that we must wait for the author of MSHV want to add this option in his software.
No MSHV does not work with JTAlert.
All was understood

73 Michel and thanks

Hallo.
The new version of MSHV has the feature of sending log packages via UDP:
New in version 1.82:
Added: In "Radio And Network Configuration", new Group box "UDP Broadcast Settings:" and two options for broadcast QSOs, Logged QSO Broadcast and Logged QSO ADIF Broadcast.
Important: Before update to new version, please backup your previous log from (dir log file mshvlog.edim).
Function "Logged QSO Broadcast" has an exception if you use Logger32: eg. In "Multi Answering Auto Seq Protocol", it is possible to end QSOs with 5 stations simultaneously within the same second. Logger32 will save only first QSO, for this reason, the seconds for each QSO, if they are in same minute, MSHV tags them electronically from 00-59.
UDP Broadcast has been tested with Logger32 for function "Logged QSO Broadcast" and N1MM for function "Logged QSO ADIF Broadcast".
Is it possible to use this feature with LOG4OM. I tried different port settings, but unfortunately it does not work.

I cannot assist or test this software for compatibility because the download is password protected.

If the author contacts me then perhaps I can do something for you

Hi
I have version MSHV 1.82 but the communicate does not work with Log4OM 1.33.1.0 for the moment only with Logger32 Hi
Yes Terry the download is password-protected, you have to ask the author LZ2HV,
so that he knows who uses his software depending on the version

Yes please ask Christo for a password. This will be no problem.
I talked to him about this problem.

You can broadcast whatever you want... if nobody listen it's hard to have an answer :D
