Using two instances of LOG4OM

Post by VK3AWG »

Hi everyone. I run two instances of Log4OM, one on each pc. I also run two .SQLite files, one on each version of Log4OM. Now my question is when I get confirmations on my main log is there an easy way to transfer those confirmations to the new log?

Thanks
Chris

Why don't you store your log file in Dropbox then one sqlite file is accessible by both computers and always in sync

Full instructions as always are in the manual

I do store my log files on Drop Box. One of my Logs is my "All time" log and the other is "this year" for the DX Marathon. If I update the main log I would like to be able to have it automatically update the second (marathon) log. Just a thought.

Ah, if what you want to do 'is keep track of annual marathon award statistics then you have spotted a shortcoming in our statistics and awards facility that I have long wanted to have added- Filter awards by year/date!

Hopefully this will be added sometime, then you could use a common logbook and filter the results you require.
