I read some of the discussions on this board about editing the modelist file, but my intentions are a little different and just need some re-assurance that I won't be messing things up with my edit.
I would like to pare down the the dropdown list of modes (on the QSO entry tab) to just the ones I use.
Can I just delete the lines for the modes I don't use and then save the file as modelist_user.csv? Or is there more to it than that?
Thanks in advance for help on this.

Hi Lenny,
yes you can and only the modes will be in the dropdown that in the modelist_user.csv.
No need to delete the original modelist.csv. All _user.csv files will be override the original
ones.
