CAT stopped working & can't get it back...

CAT with my IC-7410 stopped working a few days ago, after years of trouble free operation with same equipment, and now I can't get it back. I've tried everything I can think of -- zilch!

The only thing I use it for is displaying and logging the frequency/band.

Tried it:
Updated to latest version, including drivers.
Switched from CI-V (remote) to CI-V/USB.
Switched from OmniRig to Hamlib, and back.
Reset transceiver.
Tried playing with the baud rate, and other relevant settings, all to to no avail.
And more...

Any help, especially that leading to a solution, will be much appreciated.

Was there a recent windows update that might have changed you usb driver's or firewall/virus settings?

Possibly, but I've received no system messages to that effect, and I've white-listed Log4OM. Also tried disabling AV/firewall to no avail. The freq display disappeared while app was running. It seems apparent to me that Log4OM is not communicating with the CI-V interface on my Icom, either over USB or serial interface cable, but I've not been able to determine where the link is broken.

What version of Log4om and Omnirig are you using?

The problem presented while using previous version, 1.3? I updated to try and fix it.

Not much, and nothing new/weird. Chrome, Mail, etc. OS is Win10. I’ve tried with only Log4OM, but no cigar.

I get no error msgs or other flags. The CAT status ‘LED’ is not lighting, so something is breaking the comm link.

Could this be .NET framework issue?

Doubtful! It will be something simple when you find the cause.

When yo say not much running is there any other software trying to connect to the radio?

I assume that your radio has worked with Log4OM in the past?

Have you tried to connect to your radio with any other CAT software, if so does that work OK?

Check log4om LOG file (in help menu). If log4om experience troubes accessing the result is shown here.
