I suspect that you failed to install the genuine Icom USB drivers before you connected the radio to the computer?

Perhaps you also failed to install Log4OM and Omnirig to 'Run as an administrator' as in our quick start guide page 1

A search of this forum reveals many similar questions about the TS590 with the resolutions of the problems see search.php?keywords=TS590+CAT

managed to connect, but not with frequencies, click on the cluster the radio switches ,but the frequency is different on the radio and log4om, only after about a minute sets the same as on the radio

Hi Andrew,

to check this open the Log4OM folder. Find LogOMUI.exe and do a right mouseklick on it.
In the pullup use the compatibility tab and check the box "Run as Administrator". Save
it and then do the same in the Omnirig folder with omnirig.exe.

The programs should be shutted down to do this .... :!: :!:

Then try again. If you have always the one minute delay for reading the frequency report
it again here. Then it could be possible that a unused driver makes some problems. There
is a way to find and delete them but this is the next story ....

;) ;)

the log4om and omni-rig program were and are run as an administrator
usb port baudrate 9600 no problem
problem is 115200
I had a version of the portable program that I uninstalled, installed the normal version, and now is ok. the problem is that there are delays in broadcasting about 2 seconds from fldigi

Hi Andrew,

there is no difference between the portable and installed version of Log4OM.
The reason is only that you have to declare Windows the "Run as Administrator"
if you use the portable one.

You tell us now that there is a delay between FlDigi and Log4OM. Did you read
the manual how to use RigCTRL connection and have you realised that FLDigi
have to start first after installation, setting it up (restart of both needed) and
connecting to Log4OM ??. Having here some transceivers and FLdigi with Log4OM
running fine.
