I had not used Log40M for a few months and I tried to log some contacts in the last few days and I get a QSO Error Attempt to write a read only database. I copied and renamed the data base and that worked for that day and today I am getting the error again, with both old and new data bases. I am running windows 10 and ver 1.36.0.0
Looking for some help please,
QSO Error Attempt to write a read only database
Re: QSO Error Attempt to write a read only database
Open Windows Explorer by pressing the Windows key + E on your keyboard.
Navigate to the location of the file you would like change attribut on.
Select and right-click the file, And then select Properties from the drop-down menu that appears.
Unhook the "read only" square.

Did you have installed Log4OM with administrator privileges ? Go to your Log4OM
program folder, search LogOMUI.exe and check it with a left Mouseklick. Use
the "Properties" menu item and in the the popup window check the "Compatibility"
tab. Check the box "Run as administrator" and save it. Then try again.
