Filter out, not in

Post by K6XT »

Hello
Several times I read the manual (!) and also the one thread I found about the Regular Expression Editor (REE) without learning how to do as I want.

I want to filter OUT specific DXCC ID's from packet listings. Example. When I'm DXing I don't need any W-K spots which tend to overwhelm cluster listings. The filter I seek would discard all spots for specific DXCCID's. The filter would ideally be configured so I can filter one or more DXCCID's of my choice.

The only thread on REE I found is from 2014. It speaks to a different requirement. Is there some more recent info on creating such a filter?

Thanks 73 Art K6XT

Your barking up the wrong cactus!

Try applying filters direct to the cluster server using the command field in the cluster connection window.

Full filtering instructions for DX spider are here http://wiki.dxcluster.org/index.php/DXS ... ing_Manual

Alternatively use the VE7CC CC User software to set your filtering, instructions for connecting to Log4OM are in our user guide and the VE7CC user guide is very helpfull.
