HowTo set/review DXCC field in QSO's ?

Post by dk3dua »

Hello,

some of my imported ADIF files did not provide DXCC information, I have now a bunch of QSO's with void DXCC field.
Is there some "recheck" DXCC field function ? I know that Clublog provides a very nice and exact DXCC ckeck API where you can do bulk queries (up to 10.000 in one JSON), and I remember other Log programms who offer such a check of all DXCC's in Log , but is there also such a function in Log4OM ?

Apologies if it's slow, depends on the QRZ/HAMQTH servers and your internet connection speed!

The easier way was to select the QSO's and then field edit and select the update country or dxcc from prefix, no internet involved that way

Yes as mentioned, Clublog provides bulk API for DXCC detection, takes only a few seconds for a 10.000 QSO's JSON container, many logging programs already use this API, and I thought Log4OM does it also.

We don't need to it's built into Log4om if you use the field update facility, watch the YouTube tutorials for how to do that and it's covered in our user guide
