Was Log4OM set to send alerts via email, growl or whatever?

Have turned growl off and see what happens.

This was in the log file

2013-11-15 21:57:39.0858 ERROR: *** NotificationManagement: GROWL Error - 201 : The destination server was not reachable
2013-11-15 21:57:39.0898 ERROR: *** NotificationManagement: GROWL Error - 201 : The request failed to be sent successfully due to a network problem.
2013-11-15 21:57:39.0898 ERROR: *** NotificationManagement: GROWL Error - 201 : The response failed to be read successfully due to a network problem.

Looks like either a network or firewall problem

This is not something raised by managed code in Log4OM...
The program exited just after you clicked OK?
